TV Sisters GbR, a journalistic office based in Cologne, was founded in 2006 by Elfi Jäger and Sonja Behrens.

Both partners have extensive international programme and format research expertise, working for producers and networks in Germany and abroad.

In 1997, Elfi began work at RTL where she developed a daily, international programme scouting service. After a stint at Brainpool TV, she joined the Creative Unit of Endemol International. From 2004-2006, she was German Bureau Chief of C21Media.

From 1997-2001, Sonja served as Head of Production for daily late-night shows and primetime galas for major networks. In 2001, she entered the international format trade, representing Brainpool TV as Head of Acquisition and Distribution.

The TV Sisters screen the international TV market for German production companies and channels and provide format, programme and key-player research both as targeted reports and as periodic updates.

The TV Sisters also publish a weekly, English-language report on the German TV market, the German TV Weekly.
